COVID-19 Response

I will be continuing services until such time as a specific restriction is placed on my operations by Government or until I need to stop for my own or for my family's health reasons.


Please, If you have been exposed to COVID-19, are in self isolation, are unwell or would prefer to cancel your appointment, please contact me to let me know as soon as possible.


Going forward, I have put in place the following practices in line with Government and medical authorities advice:


- Regular hand washing before, during and after each booking;

- wearing face mask at all times;

- disinfecting all surfaces between bookings;

- I will not be entering customers homes, however will collect your dog from your front door or yard;

- I will be using my own dog lead when collecting and returning your dog;

- ensuring social distance is maintained while dealing with you;

- under no circumstance, any person other than myself will be entering my work area.

Sarah is the owner operator of The Distinguished Hound and is a Certified dog groomer. She has an eye for detail and a passion for animals. As a pet owner herself, she understands the expectations that pet owners have when entrusting her with their furry loved ones.

We groom pets according to the owners instructions, whether that be based on breed styles or lifestyle preferences. Where matting is present, through consultation with the owner, we may suggest a short clip to prevent any trauma or irritation to the skin.

Depending on your needs, dog grooming may include nail clipping, breed style cut, wash/dry and tidy up. For pricing information, please see a full list on our Services page.
